What is the good teaching?
Three categories to describe good teaching
- Consistent Instruction is the first qualities important to sound language teaching. The results of the learning process in a program should be consistent over time and between sections of the same course
- Relevant Instruction is the second crucial characteristic of sound instruction. The relevancy of a program’s instruction can be defined as the degree to which a program delivers what it claims to be offering, as well as the degree to which what is producing reflects sound language teaching practice.
- Efficient Instruction is the last characteristic that should be fostered by a program’s curriculum. The concern here is that a program be practical.
